The lonely cygnet

This cygnet seems to have been rejected, or cast out, you know the old saying “two’s company, three’s a crowd?” Aw, so I always go and feed it if I see it floating about…

On it’s own at first…

Then the ducks arrive, but it doesn't mind...

Then these 2 grumpy beggars turn up, how’s this for body language?

013

But one duck misread it…

Believe it or not these two swans are the cygnet's parents, but they pecked it so much on the back of it’s neck, it scarpered. I gave them both a good telling off, (didn’t make any difference of course).

So I made sure the ducks got the rest of the bread, and the two nasty buggers got none…
